Pray for Indonesia | Indonesia Tsunami Sumatra Earthquake

A massive earthquake 8.9 Magnitude hit off West coast of Northern Sumatra. Indonesia issues tsunami warning as powerful quake hits off west coast. Indonesian official says earthquake with preliminary magnitude of 8.9. According to US Geological Survey official website said the earthquake occurred on Wednesday, 11th April 2012 at 08:38:38 UTC.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii said a tsunami watch was in effect for Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar, Australia, the Maldives and other Indian Ocean islands, Pakistan, Malaysia, Somalia, Oman, Bangladesh, Iran, Kenya, South Africa and Singapore.

A giant 9.1-magnitude quake off the country on Dec. 26, 2004, triggered a tsunami in the Indian Ocean that killed 230,000 people, nearly three quarter of them in Aceh.
